RISE FUNDRAISING
RISE’s Fundraising Committee is an active partner in the community. There are usually 4 to 5 fundraising events held each year, in 2010 RISE will be looking to have a Spring Flower Bulb Sale, Easter Craft/Bake Sale and more to come in the summer. If you wish to help out in any of these events please call the office (746-6996) and let us know.
RISE has received it's Charitable Status and will be able to provide Tax Receipts for Income Tax purposes for your generous donations over $10.00.
Santa Claus Parade
RISE took part in the Santa Claus Parade on Saturday November 28th, in the town of Parry Sound. The Parade was a great success!! It was a little wet but the majority of the rain held off until the end. Thanks to all those who took part with RISE!! We had a great time and can't wait until next year!
Christmas Craft/Bake Sale
RISE hosted their Christmas Craft/Bake Sale at the Parry Sound Mall on December 18th, it was a big success for us!! Thanks to all those who donated goodies to our cause and to all those who came out and supported us by buying those tasty goodies! We had very few to bring home!!
VOLUNTEERS WELCOME!!
RISE is always looking for volunteers to help with fundraising activities. Some activities would include manning tables, baking crafts/goodies for sale, creating buttons for orders, and organizing an event.
If you would like to volunteer your time or give a donation please contact the office or any of the Fundraising Committee members. If you don't have a lot of time to spare, helping out a little here and a little there would be great. If you enjoy baking you could donate just during the times baked goods are needed. Or if you like making crafts you can donate them for the three or four times a year we need them. Any ideas that you wish to share are greatly welcomed too.
